@weirdbeer It's sure the easiest way I know of to get into all-grain. But ya know, after tasting my first biab, I didn't see that huge of a difference between it taste-wise with doing a partial extract, steeping specialty grains. Plus my partial extract brews cleared, whereas my first biab did not. We'll see if this one clears, but I doubt it.

I have one beer that I won't open until it has bottle-conditioned for two years and others that have been around for several years. Generally, the stronger, darker, and hoppier beers age best. Which means that a good barleywine should last just about forever.
